Job summary

Senneca is seeking a Material Handler and Receiver to move, store, and control materials across the facility. You will receive shipments, verify inventory, and deliver materials to production, ensuring accurate records and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include verifying deliveries, labeling stock, and maintaining inventory records, while adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. A GED or high school diploma and 2 years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of material handler or receiving clerk experience or equivalent.
• Experience with inventory control or inventory management.
• Basic math and recording abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
• Receive shipments, verify packages according to order and invoices and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Unload packages from incoming trucks and inspect contents for damage.
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Follow safety and quality procedures aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
