Saab, Inc. is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Senior Material Handler to join our growing Operations team. You will perform daily tasks across receiving, stockroom/warehouse, and shipping operations, collaborating with colleagues to improve internal processes.

Key duties include packing, shipping (domestic and international), completing import paperwork, forklift operation and testing, inventory counts, and maintaining organized stock locations at our East Syracuse, NY facilities.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent plus extensive material handling experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; safety conscious.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, package, and ship domestic and international orders with documentation.
• Complete import paperwork and coordinate clearance with Freight Forwarders.
• Coordinate palletized shipments with Freight Forwarders.
• Unpack and inspect incoming materials against PO and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of received materials and identify defects.
• Pick, kit, and distribute production materials to departments.
• Inspect stock locations and optimize storage space.
• Perform inventory checks and daily cycle counts.
• Obtain quotes from Freight Forwarders for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Safely lift heavy items and operate a forklift; complete internal forklift testing.
• Maintain and organize the off-site warehouse.
• Troubleshoot stockroom or inventory issues.
• May work at East Syracuse, NY facilities (Collamer and Enterprise).
