Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Material Handler for a Quincy, IL facility on 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) with potential for hire. You will verify deliveries, label materials, and move stock to designated locations.

Responsibilities include picking parts for production and orders, preparing kits for shipping, and updating the ERP system. Requires HS diploma/GED, basic computer skills, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries for accuracy.
• Identify and label materials with their stock locations.
• Move materials from receiving to storage locations.
• Accurately pick parts for production and customer orders.
• Pick customer kits and prepare them for shipping.
• Record inventory receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP system.
• Maintain 5S standards and safe operating conditions.
