Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pick and pack customer orders, and move product through receiving and putaway processes.

You will use WMS, verify stock, and ensure accuracy while following safety procedures. Must have a high school diploma and forklift certification; 1+ year distribution experience preferred. Dal-Tile offers a steady shift and a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and place orders on pallets.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Transport picked orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Receive product into warehouse and prep for stocking; inspect and label products.
• Putaway: move product to designated areas and record locations in inventory system.
• Pack and label boxes, apply packing slips, load onto conveyors, and verify accuracy.
• Monitor equipment and follow safety procedures; keep area clean and organized.

Job description

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shippingarea.

Shift:

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Stand-Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsi- bilities:

Picking:

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.

Receiving:

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Opens crates and inspects product.
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures.
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location.

Putaway:

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.

SPC Check/Pack Checking:

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Labels boxes with packing slip.
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt.
• Verifies orders for accuracy.

General:

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.

• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
