Job summary

Reeb in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, staging, and loading items using powered equipment. You will use hand-held scanners, read work orders, and ensure accurate material handling and inventory.

Maintain safety, quality, and organization on docks and aisles. Ideal candidates have GED or high school diploma, 1–4 years of related experience, and can obtain or hold equipment certifications (order picker, forklift, Swing-Reach, Scissor Lift).

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • 1–4 years related experience preferred.
  • Powered industrial equipment certification required or provided.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, stage and/or load correct warehouse items using equipment as required.
  • Read production work orders and scan and stage material accordingly.
  • Stage or load materials in correct order in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use equipment to load or unload material on delivery trucks when required.
  • Use of hand-held scanner to receive, move, identify and pick/pull correct materials from designated bin locations.
  • Move any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or return to vendor.
  • Make minor repairs on product if found.
  • Use of a sit-down or standup forklift, swing reach, scissor lift or order picker as required and maintenance of appropriate certification.
  • Perform daily inspections of powered industrial equipment and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • View orders or product in inventory system to assist with daily tasks.
  • Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards.
  • Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled and/or loaded.
  • Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the docks and warehouse aisles.
  • Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy.
  • Assist in identifying and returning undamaged materials to warehouse locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

Experience : One to four years related experience preferred. Experience with powered industrial equipment a plus.

Certified on one of the following pieces of equipment - Reeb will provide training and certification.
