Job summary

LS Cable & System U S A Inc. seeks a Material Handler III to move and store materials in a manufacturing environment and operate a 36,000 lb forklift. You will supply raw materials to lines, transfer materials between sites, and maintain SAP records while upholding safety and efficiency.

We value reliable attendance and the ability to perform basic math and written communication. Prior forklift experience and a high school diploma are preferred for this on-site role in Tarboro, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating a forklift and knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; good attendance expected.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered material handling trucks up to 36,000 lb.
• Provide raw materials or reels for production lines as needed.
• Move warehoused raw materials to production lines and back to warehouse.
• Transfer material between factory sites and update SAP locations.
• Move scrap, weigh, and tag for shipping; assist with machine setup when required.
• Support operators and helpers on tasks and maintain safety and housekeeping.
