Job summary

Tenneco Litchfield is seeking a Material Handler to transport materials by forklift across production cells and load/unload for customers and vendors. You will use SAP to prepare and ship products, ensuring continuous production flow.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, safety procedures, and SAP/BOL documentation; Epic Scanner usage is required. Overtime may be required, and training for CTPA T is provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to acquire forklift license in timely manner which includes a medical certification by a Tenneco provided medical professional have Knowledge of safety regulations
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions and charts
• Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to numerous requests and paging announcements
• Alertness and awareness of surrounding activities in all directions

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and follow directions in a fast-paced production environment.
• Load and unload products for customers and vendors; move materials to production cells.
• Use SAP to prepare, ship, and receive products.
• Move materials and baskets to/from work cells to sustain production.
• Perform basic SAP transactions and use Epic Scanner for material movement.
• Complete BOL paperwork and ensure inbound/outbound shipments are full.
• Follow safety regulations and complete safety checks on forklifts.
• Overtime as required
