Shift 401/Shift A Sun - Tue / Sun - Wed AM 6 am - 6 pm

Shift 403/Shift C Wed - Sat / Thur - Sat AM 6 am - 6 pm

Job Summary

Working under minimal supervision, the Material Handler III will act as the lead in the absence of the Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring accuracy in SAP at all times. Following department procedures, the candidate should be able to perform at least three of the following jobs: RTS (Return to Stock), stockroom, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving. Reconcile inventory variances and adjust accordingly. Report line record accuracy to Supervisor and Manager. Occasionally, act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the Production line regarding inventory or shortages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Stockroom / RTS:

• Put material away in the stockrooms using RF scanners in SAP and verify transactions.
• Pull kits and split them as required using system procedures.
• Scan kits to the G drive and pull shortages to ensure completeness.
• Count all material returning from the line to ensure system accuracy.
• Maintain organized box build areas and full kan bans of material.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including physical and system movement of materials, cycle counting, completing disposition reports, and back flushing materials in ERP.

Receiving:

• Follow ISO procedures for receiving, validate carton counts, and note exceptions.
• Sign for all delivered materials after validation.
• Validate purchase order, part number, quantity, and supplier; complete receipt in the system.
• Perform de-trash shipments and other duties as assigned.
• Follow ISO procedures for Receiving Inspection, verify packing slips, perform SAP transactions, and obtain QC certification.

Shipping:

• Follow ISO procedures for shipping, understand documentation requirements, and manage transportation carriers.
• Perform physical movements and system transactions accurately and safely.
• Support month-end work for work cells, including extra hours if needed.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Requirements:

• Effective communication, problem-solving, and PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s software.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and perform basic math and interpret instructions.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
