JOB SUMMARY
Working under minimal supervision, the individual will act as the lead in the absence of the Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring accuracy in SAP at all times. Following department procedures, the candidate should be able to perform at least three of the following tasks: RTS (Return to Stock), stockroom management, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving. The role involves reconciling inventory variances and making adjustments accordingly. The individual will report line record accuracy to the Supervisor and Manager. Occasionally, they will act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the Production line regarding inventory or shortages.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stockroom / RTS:
- Use RF scanners in SAP to put material away in the stockrooms and verify transactions.
- Pull kits and split them as required, following system-based procedures.
- Scan kits to the G drive and verify shortages to ensure completeness.
- Count all material returning from the line to ensure system accuracy.
- Maintain organized box build areas and ensure all kanbans are stocked with material.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Other related duties:
- Physical and system movement of materials within operations.
- Cycle counting of any area.
- Complete material disposition reports.
- Accurately backflush material in the ERP system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Receiving:
- Follow ISO document procedures for receiving.
- Validate carton counts against bills of lading and note exceptions.
- Sign for delivered materials once validated.
- Validate purchase orders, part numbers, quantities, and suppliers; complete receipts in the system.
- Perform de-trash shipments to eliminate waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Receiving Inspection:
- Follow ISO procedures for inspection.
- Verify packing slips, receipts, and quantities before inspection.
- Perform SAP transactions for material movement.
- Perform inventory adjustments as needed.
- Obtain and maintain IPC Standard-A-610 certification.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Shipping:
- Follow ISO procedures for shipping.
- Understand shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Manage transportation carriers according to guidelines.
- Perform physical movements and system transactions safely and accurately.
- Support work cells during month-end shipments, including working extra hours if necessary.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
