Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform a variety of storage and shipping tasks supporting overall operations. You will remove, stock, and select product per inventory plans, load/unload trucks, verify items, and assist with cycle counts, quality checks, and safety initiatives on the warehouse floor. The role requires forklift certification, metal-industry experience, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years warehousing experience, metals industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform bending/reaching.
• Forklift certification and experience using handheld measuring tools.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math.
• Experience with lean and quality control a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately remove, stock, and organize product per inventory plan.
• Pick, process, and pack orders; verify correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Load/unload trucks and inspect incoming shipments for damage/shortages.
• Conduct cycle counts and segregation of defective material.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; follow ISO/6S initiatives.
• Provide leadership or mentoring to lower level employees as needed.
