Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a warehouse associate to support our supply chain and ensure efficient shipping and receiving. You will operate stand-up forklifts, pallet inverters, pallet wrappers, and use SAP with handheld RF scanners to move goods and prepare outbound orders.

This role requires prior warehouse experience, forklift operation, and willingness to work in cold environments and at heights; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/warehouse environments is required.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts, counterbalanced and reach trucks.
• Safely operate pallet inverters and pallet wrappers.
• Safely operate scissor lifts.
• Identify acceptable vs non-acceptable quality products.
• Use SAP and RF scanners to transfer materials.
• Pick and assemble outbound customer orders.
• Receive inbound goods and supplies.
• Store and ship materials appropriately.
• Move products in/out of pallet racking.
• Unload/load trucks and trailers.

Job description

As a member of our supply chain team, you’ll ensure our customers receive noticeably better service and that our products are delivered accurately and on time. With great attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture, you’ll ensure all elements of the distribution process are considered and accounted for. Additionally, you’ll assist our operations team in obtaining the lowest industry cost. Working closely with internal partners, customers and vendors, you’ll provide a seamless and hassle-free logistics process.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts, both counterbalanced and reach trucks
• Safely operate pallet inverters and pallet wrappers
• Safely operate scissor lifts
• Distinguish non-acceptable and acceptable quality products
• Use SAP and handheld RF scanners to accurately transfer materials
• Pick and assemble outbound customer orders
• Receive inbound finished goods and supplies
• Identify proper storage and shipment temperatures for different products and supplies
• Move product and other materials into and out of pallet racking
• Build, prepare, and wrap pallets for shipment or storage
• Load and unload semi-trucks and trailers
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Experience

• Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment required
• Experience operating forklifts required

Skills

• Ability to take ownership of own and other Members’ safety
• Must be willing to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
• Must be willing to occasionally work at heights up to 30 feet above the ground
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.

• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
