Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II in Chester, VA to support order processing and shipping activities. You will generate delivery and shipping documents, coordinate with internal teams and external transport partners, and help ensure timely shipments and permit declarations.

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for in-coming and out-going order processing and documentation, including generating delivery/shipping documents.
• Liaises with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/out-going shipments.
• Ensures prompt and accurate declaration of permits and prompt delivery and clearance of shipments.
• Investigates and actions all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
