Job summary

Travero is a logistics solutions company and a subsidiary of Alliant Energy. The Material Handler II will operate bulk material handling equipment and forklift systems to move product between buildings, trailers, and railcars, inside and outside, with exposure to temperature extremes and heavy workloads.

You will work with ERP/WMS processes, ensure safety, and participate in a growth‑oriented team focused on efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5 years’ experience operating a forklift inside a warehouse facility and outside yard.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loader, conveyors, boom lifts, etc.
• Experience working with WMS or ERP.

Responsibilities

• Operates bulk material handling equipment, such as conveyors, boom lifts, wheel loader and sky track.
• Secures trailers to all docks and provides trailer information to the office.
• Operates electric forklift and associated warehouse equipment to safely and accurately move product within the warehouse.
• Ensures inventory accuracy and adheres to ERP/WMS processes and internal protocols.
• Loads and unloads trailers and rail cars safely without damaging products or assets.
• Spots and loads or unloads railcars and trucks/trailers.
• Operates railcar unloading equipment, switches railcars, and inspects tracks for obstructions.
