Job summary

Travero, a subsidiary of Alliant Energy, is hiring a Material Handler II to support bulk material handling and transloading operations. You will work with conveyors, wheel loaders, and forklifts, moving goods between trucks, railcars, and warehouses, while prioritizing safety and inventory accuracy.

The role involves inside/outside work, exposure to temperature extremes, and daily collaboration with teams. Previous experience with WMS/ERP systems and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ forklift experience in warehouse and yard.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (wheel loader, conveyors, boom lifts).
• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk material handling equipment (conveyors, boom lifts, wheel loader, sky track).
• Secure trailers to docks and relay trailer information to office.
• Operate electric forklift and warehouse equipment to move product safely.
• Follow procedures for inventory accuracy and customer compliance.
• Load/unload trailers and railcars without damaging goods or assets.
• Spot/load/unload railcars and trailers as required.
• Perform railcar unloading duties and switch railcars.
• Inspect safety devices and maintain clean, organized equipment.
