Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Material Handler II to join our Tampa, FL manufacturing team. You will pack finished goods, monitor products for defects, assist with start‑ups or changeovers, and keep the work area clean and organized.

You will bundle PVC conduit per packaging standards, operate and observe production machinery, and support quality control using standard tools. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and strong communication with teammates and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
