Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a warehouse associate to operate powered industrial trucks and manage picking, receiving, putaway, and packing processes.

You will use a Warehouse Management System (WMS), verify stock, and ensure accurate orders while following safety procedures. The role supports a busy distribution center with a second shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of distribution/warehouse experience.
• 6 months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Commitment to safe, conscientious work.
• Dal-Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and palletize them.
• Enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Receive product, inspect crates, and apply labels.
• Place product into correct warehouse locations.
• Pack and label boxes, load onto conveyor, and verify orders.
• Monitor equipment and follow safety procedures.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

Shift:

• 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge:

• Sit-Down Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
• Opens crates and inspects product
• Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

Putaway

• Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
• Labels boxes with packing slip
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt
• Verifies orders for accuracy

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
