Job summary

GXO is seeking a Material Handler II in Hillsboro, Oregon, to support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility. You will construct packaging boxes, pick merchandise, verify orders, and use a handheld scanner in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing or walking for long periods, and familiarity with WMS. Knowledge of SAP and a high school diploma are a plus, with potential for growth in a global logistics team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• If applicable, 2 years of experience as a material handler.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
• Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise
• Verify orders, label products and utilize a handheld scanner

This job requires the ability to

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)

It'd be great if you also have:

• 2 years of experience as a material handler
• Knowledge of SAP
• High School Diploma or equivalent
