Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Material Handler to support internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials in a fast-paced production environment. You will operate material handling equipment, verify parts, use MRP systems, and maintain a safe, clean workspace following 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Good computer, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to an ever changing environment and processes.
• Capable of making accurate decisions under set guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production
• Ability to accurately verify parts and quantities and complete BOL’s to receive and/or ship material
• Operate all material handling equipment (stand‑up, sit‑down, combi, lancer, tugger) in assigned operations facility
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards
• Use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment
• Utilize computer equipment to interact with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed
• Other duties, as assigned
