Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a material handler to receive, store, and issue equipment and supplies in a production facility. You will coordinate material movement and prepare items for shipping, operating forklifts and loading/unloading trucks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic inventory knowledge, and familiarity with MRP. 5S project experience and inventory reconciliation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in material handling, inventory, and forklift driving preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in using MRP preferred.
• Experience leading 5S project highly preferred.
• Knowledge of reconciling inventory highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of materials, actual material movement, and loading parts and final product for shipping.
• Track material, parts, etc. through designated area and coordinate movement of material, parts, and assemblies.
• Manual use of forklift, scissor lift, to move materials throughout the facility.
• Properly loads and unloads trucks.
