Job summary

Jim Myers & Sons, Inc. (JMS) is seeking a reliable Material Handler II to support the Charlotte, NC production teams. The role involves pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials to production, and keeping inventory organized with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in material handling and forklift operation, with strong attention to inventory accuracy. Lifts up to 75 lbs and ERP familiarity are required; JMS provides competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of material handling experience.
Minimum of 5 years forklift driving experience.
Strong background in inventory transactions with high attention to detail.
Desire to learn and to continue developing knowledge and skills.
Forklift certification.
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

Prepping, organizing, and staging materials to maintain production.
Respond to requests from departments to assist in material transport.
Performing regular inventory counts.
Using ERP to stage incoming material and run reports.
Investigating root causes of inventory discrepancies and reporting to leadership.
Ensuring parts and pallets are organized with proper labeling and tracking.
