Job summary

Travero in Fairfax, IA, is seeking a Material Handler II to operate bulk material handling equipment and move product between buildings, trucks, and railcars. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work with temperature extremes and requires Safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Primary duties include loading/unloading trailers and rail cars, maintaining inventory accuracy with WMS/ERP, and adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Preferred 5 years forklift experience in a warehouse or yard.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (wheel loader, conveyors, etc.).
• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk material handling equipment to move product between docks, trailers and railcars.
• Safely load/unload trailers and rail cars; secure loads and provide railcar information.
• Use forklift and warehouse equipment to move product inside the facility.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and follow ERP/WMS procedures.
• Comply with safety practices; inspect equipment and report hazards.
