Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Evansville, Indiana. The role involves operating forklifts and other mobile equipment to receive, unload, stage, and move raw materials and finished goods within the plant, yard, or warehouse.

You will load, transport, and position materials, participate in continuous improvement, and support housekeeping and 5S practices while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, racks, trailers, trucks, etc.
• Transport materials from storage or production areas to designated areas.
• Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards.
