BlueScope Buildings is hiring a Material Handler to operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move raw materials and finished goods within plant areas. You will load, unload, and transport materials, while maintaining safety and organization on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Load Materials: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto or from pallets, industrial racks, trailers, trucks, etc.
• Transport Materials: Transports materials from storage or production areas and places in designated areas.
• Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
