Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a proactive Material Handler II for 2nd shift in Austin, TX. You will support manufacturing, repair, and rework of satellite communications equipment and ensure orderly material flow.

Responsibilities include pulling orders, stocking inventory, packaging and shipping, and operating pallet jacks. You will help maintain accurate records and train teammates in material handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders from inventory and deliver materials to production.
• Maintain stock area and properly label/position items.
• Track inventory locations and report shortages.
• Package and ship finished stock and prepare for transit.
• Operate pallet jacks and assist with loading/unloading.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Document shipments and material movements.
• Train and mentor junior staff on duties.
• Participate in process-improvement activities.
