Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Edwardsville, KS is seeking a Material Handler II to keep materials and finished goods moving safely and efficiently. You will operate forklifts, perform shipping and receiving, assist in production, and support inventory control.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing or distribution experience, solid forklift skills, and a safety-conscious mindset. RF scanner/WMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience.
• Previous forklift experience and certification preferred.
• RF scanner/WMS experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare materials for shipment or production.
• Pick materials, pack, label, and stage for shipping or staging.
• Move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Use RF scanners and barcode systems to track inventory and counts.
• Complete inventory and production reports and quality checks.
• Assist production floor as needed and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
