Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a Material Handler II for its Edwardsville, KS facility. The role combines forklift operation, shipping/receiving, order picking, inventory control, RF scanning, and production support to keep materials and finished products moving safely.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, staging materials, completing inventory and quality checks, and assisting on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment in a similar role.
• Previous forklift experience; ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification.
• RF scanner/WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or by hand as needed.
• Pick materials from storage locations and assemble orders for shipment or production.
• Pack, repack, label, and stage materials.
• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Use RF scanners and barcode systems to track inventory and finished goods.
• Verify counts and complete inventory and production reports.
• Wrap and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Complete quality audits during the shift.
• Assist with training new operators.
• Support production and work on the floor as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Position Title: Material Handler II

Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:45pm

A well-established manufacturing company in Edwardsville, KS is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to keep materials and finished products moving safely and efficiently throughout the facility. This hands-on role combines forklift operation, shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory control, RF scanning, and production support. You’ll load and unload trucks, stage materials, prepare finished products for shipment, complete inventory and quality checks, and assist on the production floor as needed. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing or distribution experience, solid forklift skills, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. RF scanner/WMS experience is a plus! Material Handler Responsibilities:

Requirements for Material Handler:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment in a similar role
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
• RF scanner/WMS experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Willingness to perform hands-on warehouse and production work as needed
