Litehouse Foods in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a motivated Material Handler II. You will operate powered industrial trucks to move materials, pick customer orders, and maintain accurate inventory using scanners.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards in a refrigerated environment. The position involves overtime/weekend shifts and offers benefits consistent with a 100% employee-owned company culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed).
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
