Job summary

HID Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Material Handler II to support daily operations including material movement, receiving, shipping and order picking. You will operate automated equipment, perform cycle counts, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to work fast with great attention to detail, and overtime flexibility. Prior manufacturing experience and standup forklift knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at a fast pace with high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and perform cycle counting to support KPIs.
• Receive/shipping tasks and order picking to meet targets.
• Operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery and assist with 5S practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement and escalate safety or quality issues.
