Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Material Handler II at our Long Beach, CA facility to manage inbound goods, inventory, and production kits. You will count, kit, and stock items, ensuring accurate, timely fulfillment for production lines.

Candidate should have a high school diploma with 1+ years of experience and be proficient with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems. The role is on-site with competitive base pay and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1+ years of experience
• Proficient using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure SOPs for processing of inwards goods are adhered to
• Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production & transfer order plans / priorities
• Ensure supply of Kanban materials to shop floor is sustained
• Raw material movements and replenishment
• Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure SOPs for processing of inwards goods are adhered to
• Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production & transfer order plans / priorities
• Ensure SOP’S are followed, and stock point accuracy is maintained
• Participate in a daily cycle counting program
• Ensure FIFO is managed and maintained to achieve appropriate stock rotation
• Maintain stock point accuracy and ensure LN accurately reflects actual stock movements. Investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Additional duties as reasonably required
