Job summary

Oatey Co. in Shakopee, MN seeks a Material Handler to support operations with put-away, replenishment, order picking, and cycle counting. The role requires a forklift certification and 2–4 years of related experience, plus strong math, communication, and safety knowledge. You will verify SKUs, work with RF systems, and collaborate across the team.

Qualifications

Two to Four (2-4) years of related work experience.
Computer literacy required.
Forklift operator certification/authorization required.
Knowledge of corporate safety program and emergency preparedness plans.
Excellent communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written.
Ability to perform basic math and understand measurements.
Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

Use material handling equipment to place merchandise in its assigned location.
Select and load orders while verifying SKU and completing transactions via radio frequency system.
Support replenishment for the shipping area into pick lines.
Assist with Cycle-Count responsibilities; perform rework and return goods duties as assigned.
Ensure lost product and damages are processed nightly; verify quantities in system.
Collaborate with associates and take on additional duties with a positive attitude.
