Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Material Handler II at our Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania Distribution Center. This full-time role focuses on safe order picking, cycle counting and packaging using RF scanners and label printers.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and contribute to inventory accuracy while enjoying Day 1 benefits, 18 days PTO, six holidays and a 6% 401(k) with immediate vesting.

Qualifications

• One year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Experience with warehouse operations and order fulfillment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders and cycle counting using powered industrial equipment.
• Checking and boxing of picked product.
• Packaging inbound material using labeling systems and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, stapler, and shrink wrapping.
• Documenting packaging activity using RF scanners and keyboard data entry.
• Maintaining stock of packaging supplies at packaging stations.
• Picking orders using powered equipment, label printers, RF scanners and keyboard entry; cart put away.
• Restocking and picking using powered industrial equipment.
• You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk in a warehouse environment.
