Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Material Handler II, 2nd Shift, to support the flow of materials at our South Chesterfield, VA facility. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading, using forklifts, and ensuring timely movement of parts and finished goods.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and forklift experience; preferred candidates have 2+ years in warehouse order pulling. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years forklift experience.
• 2+ years experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads sales orders and follows instructions to move materials.
• Receives, unpacks, inspects, and routes incoming shipments; notes shortages and damages.
• Prepares and attaches paperwork for outbound shipments and coordinates with carriers.
• Orders material from warehouse via ERP system for production lines.
• Loads/unloads materials using forklift or manual handling equipment.
• Operates forklift/electric hoist to move materials and keep stock on hand.
• Assists with cycle counts and inventory as directed by supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned.
