Collins Aerospace in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a warehouse associate for a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am) to handle shipments, packing, inventory control, and related warehouse tasks on site. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and may come with 2+ years of warehouse experience.

The schedule for this role is 2nd shift Monday-Friday-3:30pm - 12:00am with overtime on a business need basis.

What You Will Do

• Processes incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepares merchandise for shipping
• May operate forklift, crane, or other conveyance machinery.
• Maintains records of materials and merchandise.
• Checks invoices and bills of lading.
• Performs scheduling of shop loading and physical control of in-process inventories.
• Verifies the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Labels incoming products and stores in assigned locations.
• Identifies and locates products during delivery process.
• Maintains and updates account of stock and inventory.
• Conducts maintenance on handling equipment.
• Collaborates with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.
• Complies with warehouse safety rules and guidelines

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant
