Job summary

Resilience is a technology-focused biomanufacturing company transforming how medicine is made. The Material Handler role reports to the Supervisor, Warehouse, and involves moving materials, receiving, shipping, cycle counting, and supporting production areas across a GMP-regulated site.

Night shifts run 6 PM–6 AM on a rotating 2-on/2-off and 3-on/3-off schedule. The role requires shipping/receiving experience, DG certification readiness, strong basic math, and proficiency with SAP, WES, and

Qualifications

  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Ability to meet requirements for Dangerous Goods certification.
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records and perform math calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with SOPs, GMPs and site guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Safely operate multiple types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs).
  • Report PIT incidents/accidents and assist investigations.
  • Complete daily PIT safety checklists and charge batteries.
  • Operate non-PIT equipment like hand pallet jacks, pallet exchange, stretch wrap and banding machines.
  • Maintain SAP/WES/Microsoft Outlook/Temp Tracer accuracy for warehouse/label control tasks.
  • Support site KPIs and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist cycle counting and location audit activities.
  • Receive, ship, store materials including hazardous goods and finished goods.
  • Support production areas with warehouse duties.
  • Communicate Bill of Lading information with carriers.
  • Process system transactions (BOL, MRR, POD) and document as required.

The Material Handler is a position reporting to the Supervisor, Warehouse, with the duties of moving and transporting a variety of materials within and between various operating areas. This position includes the function to perform receipts, shipments, and cycle counting of materials.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with all applicable SOPs, GMPs and department/site guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. (OSHA, FDA, DEA, FTZ and so on)
  • Safely and proficiently operate multiple types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs)
  • Immediately report and help investigate any PIT incident/accident.
  • Complete daily PIT safety check lists.
  • Safely charge batteries for PITs.
  • Safely and proficiently operate all non-PIT equipment including hand pallet jacks, pallet exchange machine, pallet stretch wrappers and pallet banding machine.
  • Maintain skill proficiency in SAP (including Radio Frequency devices), WES, Microsoft Outlook, Temp Tracer, and any other programs necessary to support all warehouse/label control activities.
  • Work to support site and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform all housekeeping tasks necessary to keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist in various cycle counting and location audit activities.
  • Perform all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storage of direct materials (raw material, WIP, and finished goods), chemicals (including tank farm), HAZMAT materials, and non-stock materials.
  • Perform all warehouse duties related to supporting all production areas.
  • Understand and be able to communicate Bill of Lading information with outside truck drivers and carriers.
  • Perform all system transactions and updates including BOL, MRR, POD, etc. and complete any written documentation required to support these processes or forms.
Hours (Night Shift)
  • 6 PM-6 AM
  • 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, 3 nights off and the rotation starts over
Minimum Requirements
  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Ability to meet requirements for Dangerous Goods certification.
  • Must have the ability to effectively understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions.
  • Good attention to detail is required. Individual must be capable of keeping accurate records and performing mathematical calculations.
Preferred Background
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of PIT Safety Training Course including certification on all types of equipment utilized by the warehouse.
  • SAP ERP Warehouse Management experience
  • Forklift and DOT training
  • Export shipments experience

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
