Job summary

Arvato in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to safely operate forklifts and support production through accurate material handling. You will manage dock stockers, reach trucks, inventory, and order fulfillment across multiple Kentucky locations, following SAP-based processes and 7S safety guidelines.

This role requires 1 year of forklift experience and a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehousing or logistics experience.
• Experience operating powered dock stocker and reach truck.
• Knowledge of WMS systems required.
• Strong inventory control and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This role will use powered equipment to safely, efficiently, and accurately transport products, materials, and supplies throughout the warehouse in support of production processes.

A shift--Sunday-Tuesday & every other Saturday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

B shift--Wednesday-Friday & every other Saturday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

2nd shift--Monday-Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

• 1 year of experience operating forklifts, including dock stockers and reach trucks.
• Inventory organization and maintenance
• Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs
• Inventory tracking as products are received into, moved through, and shipped from the warehouse
• Perform cycle counting of inventoried materials that can include counting, recording, re-counting, and data entry of count results
• Inspect inventory for defects or damages, including documentation of such into warehouse & inventory management systems
• Fill and check customer orders, including handing off processed packages to carriers
• Stage, process, package, and ship material & orders accurately, including receipt and delivery to internal clients
• Enter data in warehouse management (SAP) programs
• Interface with and assist management, including across departments, to ensure key objectives are realized
• Unload incoming material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with the unloading of parcels
• Inspect, review, verify, and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document any discrepancies through appropriate channels
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines
• Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal oriented work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing or logistics
• Experience operating a powered dock stocker and reach truck
• Knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system) pertaining to warehouse activities is required
