Job summary

Arvato is a global 3PL provider offering comprehensive logistics services. This warehouse role supports production by safely transporting products and materials throughout the facility, operating powered equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will use SAP for data entry, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and contribute to process improvements while following safety guidelines and the 7S program. This position is based in Shepherdsville, KY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of warehousing or logistics experience.
• Experience operating a powered 48 inch pallet rider.
• Knowledge of WMS pertaining to warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a powered 48 inch pallet rider and electric pallet jack.
• Perform cycle counting and data entry of count results.
• Inventory organization and maintenance; inspect and document inventory for defects.
• Fill and check customer orders and hand off processed packages to carriers.
• Stage, process, package and ship materials and orders; data entry in SAP.
• Interface with management and cross-department teams to achieve objectives.
• Unload inbound material from truck shipments and assist with unloading of parcels.
• Inspect inbound material against delivery documentation and record discrepancies.

Job Description

This role will use powered equipment to safely, efficiently, and accurately transport products, materials, and supplies throughout the warehouse in support of production processes.

• Operate a powered 48 inch pallet rider and electric pallet jack.
• Inventory organization and maintenance
• Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs
• Inventory tracking as products received into, moved through, and shipped from the warehouse
• Perform cycle counting of inventoried materials that can include counting, recording, re-counting and data entry of count results
• Inspect inventory for defects or damages, including documentation of such into warehouse & inventory management systems
• Fill and check customer orders; including handing-off of processed packages to carriers
• Stage, process, package and ship material & orders accurately, including receipt and delivery to internal clients
• Enter data in warehouse management (SAP) programs
• Interface with and assist management, including across departments to ensure key objectives are realized
• Unload incoming material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with unloading of parcels
• Inspect, review, verify and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document any discrepancies through appropriate channels
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines
• Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean and goal oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating a powered 48 inch pallet rider
• Knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system) pertaining to warehouse activities required
