Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler II to efficiently process received goods, verify accuracy with RF devices, and place items into correct stocking locations.

The role includes noting discrepancies for review and ensuring items are broken down into selling units as required. Responsibilities also cover handling damaged inventory with the spill team and participating in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Operates manual and motorized machinery to stock receipts accurately.
• Uses RF device to verify location, product, quantity, and expiration (where applicable).
• Verifies items received by matching description, quantity, packaging unit, and expiration date.

Responsibilities

• Notes discrepancies and flags items for review by department lead or supervisor.
• Breaks down products into correct selling units and places them in proper stocking locations.
• If products/inventory are damaged, directs them to the designated damaged area and contacts the spill team as needed.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Job description

Utilizes various types of manual and motorized machinery to ensure that vendor and customer return receipts are put into stock quickly and accurately. Uses RF device to verify location, product, and quantity. Verifies items that have been received correctly by matching product description, quantity, packaging unit, and expiration date (where applicable) on the document or RF device, with the product received. Notes discrepancies and marks products for review by department team lead or supervisor. Breaks down products received into correct selling units and and puts products into correct stocking location, as noted on the department or RF device. If products or inventory are damaged, the material handler II brings them to designate damaged area in Inventory Control and calls the spill team as appropriate. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
