Position: Material Handler II

Location: Gastonia, NC

Wage: $21.528/hr

Shift: 1st Shift 7AM-3PM

Job Summary

Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Material Handler II is responsible for forklift operation and handling raw and finished goods within the plant.

Responsibilities

1. Operate stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
2. Support production needs by distributing raw materials and finished goods to appropriate workstations.
3. Verify tags, markings, and labels for accuracy.
4. Load and unload trucks, and maintain related documentation.
5. Manage parts inventory, assist with monthly inventory counts, and organize warehouse stock.
6. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating a forklift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
