Position: Material Handler
Location: Dalton, GA
Wage: $21.42/hr
Shift: 2nd (2 pm-10 pm or 4 pm-12 am)

Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Material Handler will be responsible for forklift driving and handling raw and finished goods efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Support production needs by handling and distributing finished goods and raw materials to appropriate workstations.
• Verify tags, markings, and labels for accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks, and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain parts inventory, assist with monthly inventory counts, and organize warehouse stock.
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift driving experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to understand manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
