Qualifications

• Forklift experience required (2 years).

• Basic math, sharp attention to detail, and steady hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Loading: Safely load and unload trucks and gantry cranes to move heavy steel products.
• Machinery Operation: Operate industrial cutting equipment, including plasma cutters, torches, and band saws.
• Forklift Operation: Navigate the facility safely while transporting heavy loads using a forklift.
• Precision Measurement: Use calipers and tape measures to verify material dimensions accurately.
• Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners to track, locate, sort, and organize manufacturing materials.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform daily equipment safety inspections and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Material Handler II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, cutting, and organizing heavy steel materials to ensure efficient production and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in forklift operation, steel cutting machinery, and inventory control. Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Outdoor Work: Ability to work outside comfortably in all types of weather conditions.

• Heavy Lifting: Capability to lift and maneuver heavy steel pieces regularly throughout the shift.

Qualifications & Skills

• Forklift Experience: 2 years of experience (Required)
• Steel Cutting Experience: 1 year of experience using industrial cutting tools (Required)
• Inventory Management: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
• Manufacturing Experience: 1 year of experience in a production setting (Preferred)
• Core Skills: Basic math proficiency, sharp attention to detail, and steady hand-eye coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 Per hour”
