JOB DESCRIPTION

• Job Title: Material Handler II Shipping
• Department: Materials
• Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, labeling, manifesting, and preparing documents for customer orders in a cooperative team environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

• Use voice picking device to pick orders
• Use RF scanner to pack orders
• Read and follow customer requirements in accordance with best practices
• Print carton labels using available tools according to customer instructions
• Work with team members to stock finished goods in proper locations
• Manage orders in warehouse software (High-Jump), including releases, cancellations, assignments
• Adjust order pick priority based on size, ship method, and customer requirements

Requirements

• Picks and Packs LTL orders following customer instructions and BOL
• Performs web-based collection scheduling
• Communicates shipping info to carriers, forwarders, third parties as per order comments
• Processes shipments on Manifest System with limited supervision
• Accurately completes commercial shipment documentation per ECCO Export Compliance Manual and training
• Maintains high accuracy in all tasks
• Understands ESG's customer segments and specific requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
