Material Handler, Picker/Packer, Inventory Control Person needed in San Diego, Mission Valley Area

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Two years of experience or more in warehouse, stockroom or inventory control position(s).

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Forklift Operator certificateor satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program is required within the first60 days of employment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and CLEAR driving record.

Job Skills

• Sound knowledge of fundamental material handling processes as applicable including customer order fulfillment activities & packaging, inventory control and disposition, supply documentation, data and transactional management, material distribution and/or delivery, warehouse or stockroom control techniques, and cycle or physical counting.
• Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment.
• Ability to effectively to questions from managers and employees.
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts with respect to job-related situations.
• Ability to handle interruptions and maintain focus.
• Experience working with an RF Gun preferred.
• Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.
• A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.

Schedule:

• 2nd 2pm- 10:30pm
• 8 hour shift
• Full-time, TTH
• Monday to Friday
