Summary

The Material Handler II is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, organizing, and shipping finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment. The role ensures accurate material handling, inventory management, order fulfillment, documentation, and timely delivery while maintaining required quality standards. The position requires SAP and ERP system knowledge, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage or shipment according to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Receive materials and finished goods and verify their quality, type, quantity, and documentation.
• Verify packing lists and receiving documentation for accuracy.
• Operate computer applications and systems including Microsoft Excel, E-1, and SAP.
• Update and maintain SAP inventory and material information.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and distribution activities with the distribution team.
• Ensure all material handling and warehouse services meet required quality standards.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Support inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 2 years of related material handling, warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience.
• 2 3 years of SAP experience is preferred.
• 1 2 years of receiving experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP systems.
• Intermediate digital literacy with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, ERP systems, and shipping software.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment located at various heights.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex processes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room environments.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and handle materials.
• Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing 10 50 pounds.
