Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate in Alpharetta, GA to handle inbound and outbound materials, perform receiving duties, and support inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes timely processing of POs, coordination with Purchasing, and maintaining organized stock areas.

Forklift operation is possible. The candidate should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of related experience, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and basic inventory software.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and processes incoming goods; ensures receiving is completed within 24–48 hours
• Unpacks, inspects and records received items; maintains records of deliveries
• Coordinates with Purchasing to resolve PO issues and vendor errors
• Processes POs and stock; informs Customer Service of shipped POs
• Maintains clean non-stock shelves and timely repackaging
• Assists with inventory control and reporting of stocking issues
• Supports forklift operation as needed

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.

Your Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Ensures all receiving is completed in 24-48 hours
• Proactively addresses any receiving problems and provide solutions
• Completes PO in Pre Stage report daily
• Keeps non-stock shelves clean
• Ensures repackaging is completed in a timely manner
• Team with the purchasing department to address any concerns regarding POs, products, and/or vendor errors
• Coordinates resolution of any stocking and inventory issues with Inventory Control Manager
• Process POs and stock
• Informs Customer Service of Drop Ship POs shipped to the ATL warehouse
• Monitors and reports any deviation or escalation to team lead or management

Additional Responsibilities:

• File damage claims with LTL carriers

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
