Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Warehouse Receiving/Shipping Clerk to handle shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing materials. You may operate a forklift and must prepare goods for final shipment.

Responsibilities include completing receiving within 24-48 hours, coordinating POs, updating records, and coordinating with Purchasing and Inventory Control to resolve stock issues. A high school diploma and 2 years' related experience are required.

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all receiving is completed in 24-48 hours
• Proactively addresses receiving problems and provides solutions
• Completes PO in Pre Stage report daily
• Keeps non-stock shelves clean
• Ensures repackaging is completed in a timely manner
• Team with the purchasing department to address any concerns regarding POs, products, and/or vendor errors
• Coordinates resolution of any stocking and inventory issues with Inventory Control Manager
• Process POs and stock
• Informs Customer Service of Drop Ship POs shipped to the ATL warehouse
• Monitors and reports any deviation or escalation to team lead or management
• File damage claims with LTL carriers

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.

Minimum Qualifications
