Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to move materials on site and support daily operations. Under supervision, you will learn to operate handling equipment, observe safety procedures, and assist foremen with tasks.

This role is safety-sensitive; some positions require restrictions under medical marijuana laws. A high school diploma or GED is required and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of and ability to use material handling equipment.
• Attention to safety procedures and personal protective measures.
• Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Physically handles materials to optimize movement and storage.
• Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Complies with safety rules; attends safety meetings and reports issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
