Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to support the flow of materials and products on site. Under direct supervision, you will lift, carry, and move items, and operate various handling equipment to optimize product movement.

The role includes following safety procedures, attending training, and performing additional tasks as needed. This position offers on‑the‑job training and a path to learn essential warehouse operations within a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. On‑the‑job training provided.
• Knowledge of motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures while moving materials.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Physically handles materials to optimize movement on the premises.
• Operates motorized and non‑motorized handling equipment.
• Responds to training from foreman or senior handlers to learn processes.
• Adheres to safety procedures and participates in safety meetings.
