Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials for production lines. You will maintain adequate supply at running machines and ensure proper labeling, lot tracking, and paperwork compliance.

Responsibilities include prep work, hopper maintenance, and following correct drying and material handling procedures. The role requires basic experience in manufacturing, good numeracy, and the ability to work a night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the injection molding process.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Previous materials handling experience.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and loading all hoppers as required at set up.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials.
• Must be aware of correct drying conditions for each material and set machine dryers accordingly.
• Monitors clean and change necessary filter at machine hopper, hopper loaders and machine loaders (minimum once per day).
• Move finished goods to the warehouse or to a location designated by the warehouse and fill out accurately any paperwork required.
• Ensure all hoppers, gaylords, boxes and other containers are marked accurately with material identification and quantity along with date as necessary.
• Mix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc. at the correct let down ratio to meet the job requirements.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
