Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within or near the production facility or warehouse. You will help ensure a steady supply of materials to running machines and manage material paperwork and lot tracking.

This role requires a basic understanding of injection molding, at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, and strong numeracy with problem-solving skills. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and load hoppers per setup.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent contamination.
• Set dryer temperatures for each material and monitor filters daily.
• Move finished goods to warehouse and complete required paperwork.
• Label containers with material identification, quantity, and date.
• Mix color concentrates and other materials at the correct let-down ratio.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within or near production facility or warehouse. Will be primarily response for maintaining adequate supply of materials at all running machines. This includes raw materials (resin), packaging, inserts, bags, labels, etc., as called out on the job “Pick List”. The correct paperwork associated with any movement of these materials is the responsibility of the Material Handler. Lot number control is an essential part of material tracking (especially regrind) and this falls under the Material Handler responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and loading all hoppers as required at set up.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials.
• Must be aware of correct drying conditions for each material and set machine dryers accordingly. Monitors clean and change necessary filter at machine hopper, hopper loaders and machine loaders (minimum once per day).
• Move finished goods to the warehouse or to a location designated by the warehouse and fill out accurately any paperwork required.
• Ensure all hoppers, gaylords, boxes and other containers are marked accurately with material identification and quantity along with date as necessary.
• Mix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc. at the correct “let down ratio” to meet the job requirements.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.

• Friday-Sunday; 5:45am-6:15pm
• Work 36 hours get paid for 40

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
