Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) is seeking a Material Handler in Riverside, CA to move, store, and distribute raw materials, parts, and finished goods within the bus manufacturing operations.

You will operate forklifts and handling equipment to move material, ensuring timely delivery to production while following safety and quality guidelines. Responsibilities include pulling and staging materials, receiving and inspecting shipments, maintaining records in the inventory system, and

Qualifications

• Understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of materials such as mild and stainless steel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking inventory transactions.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage materials for production based on work orders and schedules.
• Load/unload/transport materials within the facility using forklifts, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
• Accurately maintain and control replenishing of assembly materials through simulations, min/max, put away, ordering, and pulling kits based on sales orders and production schedule.
• Organize bins and work centers efficiently (label placement, consistent labeling, bin size, and utilization of floor space).
• Prepare for and participate in physical inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions in the inventory system.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company policies.
• Work with warehouse and production teams to prevent material shortages and delays.
• Identify and report damaged or defective materials to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Deliver raw materials and components to production areas as needed.
